The second Russia-Africa Ministerial Forum is set to take place in Egypt this fall, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced during a press conference following talks with Mozambique's Foreign Minister Maria Manuela Lucas.
“We focused on preparations for the second ministerial forum, which is planned to be held this autumn in Egypt,” Lavrov stated.
The ministers reviewed progress on agreements reached at both Russia-Africa summits—the 2019 summit in Sochi and the 2023 summit in St. Petersburg—as well as outcomes from the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, held last autumn in Sochi.
