Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu has arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for a working visit, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the country's top leadership on a range of pressing issues, TASS reports.
Shoigu was greeted at the airport by Russian Ambassador to Malaysia Nail Latypov.
During the visit, discussions are expected to focus on strengthening political, military, trade, economic, energy, and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Malaysia.
Prior to his arrival in Malaysia, Shoigu had been on a working visit to Indonesia earlier this week.
