Tunisia registered the Russian single-component vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik Light as a universal booster, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement.
"RDIF (a sovereign wealth fund of the Russian Federation) announces the registration of the single-component vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik Light as a universal booster by the Ministry of Health of Tunisia," the statement said.
The Sputnik V vaccine was also registered in Tunisia in January 2021. Sputnik V is currently registered in 71 countries with a total population of more than 4 billion people. Sputnik Light is approved in more than 30 countries worldwide.
