21 July 2022

Promotion of the ideology of religious radicalism in Central Asian countries is a serious challenge. This was stated by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, speaking at the Fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia, which is held on Thursday in Cholpon-Ata.

"The most serious challenge is the promotion of the extremely destructive ideology of religious radicalism in Central Asia. The most dangerous for our society is the tendency to strengthen the position of Salafism and Wahhabism," Rahmon stressed.
