Tajikistan’s President Rahmon to Visit Moscow on March 15-17

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will pay an official visit to Russia from March 15 to 17, according to Shohin Samadi, head of the Information and Press Department at Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry.

 

During the visit, Rahmon and President of Russia Vladimir Putin will discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, including politics, trade, economy, culture, humanitarian initiatives, and security. Regional and international topics of mutual interest will also be on the agenda.

 

According to Samadi, the two sides are expected to sign several cooperation agreements following the talks.

 

Rahmon and Putin last met in December 2024 in Russia’s Leningrad region during an informal gathering of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders.
