Kazan Helicopter Plant plans to supply two helicopters to Turkmenistan for medical purposes, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko told reporters.
"Kazan Helicopter Plant is negotiating to supply [to Turkmenistan] two more helicopters - Mi-8 and Ansat for medical service, now negotiations are underway on the form of payment, I believe it will be arranged in the near future," he said on the sidelines of the Turkmenistan-Tatarstan commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, which was held in Ashgabat on Thursday.
As it was reported earlier, Kazan Helicopter Plant (a part of the Russian Helicopters Holding of Rostekh Corporation) supplied 13 helicopters to Turkmenistan in 2009-2021.
