At least 27 people were killed Friday in a militant attack on a military base in Mali. This was reported by Agence France-Presse, citing the country's armed forces.
According to the agency, several hundred militants attacked the base, located near the city of Mondoro in central Mali. 27 servicemen were killed and 33 others were wounded with different degrees of severity. Seven servicemen are missing.
According to the AF, 47 terrorists were killed on the spot and another 23 were killed during the operation.
