Today, during the opening of the IV international summer school "Bulgarian dialogue of cultures-2020", Deputy Chairman of the Group of strategic vision "Russia – Islamic world" Farit Mukhametshin expressed his condolences to the Lebanese people on behalf of the Group and himself in connection with the August 4 explosion in Beirut.
"We welcome and support the efforts that the Russian Federation and other states are making to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon," he said.
First Deputy Mufti Rushan Hazrat Abbyasov joined Muhametshin's words. On behalf of the conference, he promised to convey his condolences to the Lebanese people in the person of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon.
"Now the volunteers of our funds are actively engaged in helping and supporting the victims. Today, our doctors flew out to help and treat the victims of the explosion in Beirut on August 4, " said Rushan Hazrat.
