The Middle East is one of the main topics of the Global Forum of Young Diplomats in Moscow

Today, the third Global Forum of Young Diplomats starts in Moscow. More than 160 delegates from 85 countries will take part in its work.


Special guests of the event are expected to be Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko,  Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev, Russian Special Envoy for Humanitarian ties with the United States Steven Seagal.


The central topic of discussion is "Changing global world order". In addition, the participants will discuss the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism and the 75th anniversary of the UN, as well as the role of the media, the Internet and humanitarian organizations in modern international relations.


A separate topic of discussion will be the situation in the Middle East.


The forum will also include an official ceremony of signing a Memorandum of understanding between the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian MFA and the Youth Council of the UAE Foreign Ministry.
