The African Union includes 55 states. Cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in 52 member countries of the organization. Most of all - in the countries of North Africa, where more than 6 thousand people are infected. The least - in East Africa-1201 cases.
In terms of the number of infected people, South Africa is the leader - 2028 cases, 25 of which were fatal.
Only three countries on the continenth not had confirmed cases of the coronavirus infection.
