According to a diplomatic source, Togo's President Faure Gnassingbe is scheduled to attend the Russia-Africa summit in St. Petersburg. His participation in the summit was reported to TASS news agency.
"Togo will be represented at the Russia-Africa summit, with the President, Faure Gnassingbe, personally attending the event," the agency's source confirmed.
The second Russia-Africa summit and economic forum is set to take place on July 27-28 in St. Petersburg. The inaugural event occurred on October 22-24, 2019 in Sochi, operating under the slogan "For Peace, Security and Development".
