Tokayev Highlights Productive Results of His State Visit to Russia

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin, emphasized the productive outcomes of his recent state visit to Russia and his constructive talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kazakh presidential press service reported.

 

“President Tokayev drew special attention to the fruitful results of his recent state visit to the Russian Federation and the productive negotiations with President Vladimir Putin, which have given significant momentum to the development of the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance,” the statement said.

 

 

During the meeting, Tokayev noted that thanks to joint efforts, Kazakhstan and Russia are advancing their broad cooperation across all areas, and political dialogue has reached a new, unprecedented level of dynamism.

 

Tokayev visited Russia on November 11–12, after which the two presidents signed a declaration elevating bilateral relations to a level of comprehensive strategic partnership and allied cooperation.
