Tokayev praised Putin's personal contribution to strengthening bilateral relations

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during which he praised the personal contribution of the Russian president to the strengthening of bilateral relations, the press service of the Kazakh president reported on Thursday.


"The Kazakh president praised the personal contribution of the Russian leader in strengthening bilateral relations, which are invariably developing in the spirit of good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance," the statement said.


Tokayev congratulated Putin on his birthday, wishing him further success in state activities for the benefit of the Russian people. "According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, thanks to the efforts of Vladimir Putin, Russia has become an authoritative world power, without which no key international problem finds its solution," the press service explained.


It is noted that the interlocutors positively evaluated the results of the Interregional forum of Kazakhstan and Russia held on September 30. "The heads of state agreed to continue an active political dialogue on bilateral cooperation and international problems", clarified the press service.
