Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has accepted the credentials of Iran's new ambassador to Ashgabat, Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani. During their meeting, the two leaders discussed cooperation in various sectors, including energy, transportation, and culture.

They highlighted the importance of deepening relations in fuel and energy, transportation and communication, construction, and agriculture. Cultural and humanitarian cooperation, grounded in common historical, cultural, and spiritual traditions, was identified as a key area of Turkmen-Iranian relations.

The leaders emphasized the significance of joint cultural events, such as Days of Culture and exhibitions, in strengthening interstate relations. Iran was recognized as one of Turkmenistan's significant partners in the region, with the ambassador expressing commitment to further developing friendly ties.
