The United Arab Emirates has announced three days of mourning in honor of the passing of the brother of the country's President, Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Emirati news agency WAM reported the sad news.
The presidential administration issued a statement expressing condolences: "His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, <...> mourns his late brother, His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."
The period of mourning will be observed from July 27 to 29.
Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held the position of the representative of the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
