UN Secretary-General António Guterres will visit Kyrgyzstan from July 1 to 3, according to the press service of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
"During his visit to Cholpon-Ata, bilateral talks are scheduled with President Sadyr Zhaparov, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev, and a visit to one of the UN Development Program projects," said Muratbek Azymbakiyev, head of the foreign policy department of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, as reported by the press service.
The discussions will cover the status and prospects of cooperation within the UN and include an exchange of views on key international issues.
The visit by the UN Secretary-General comes at the invitation of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
