Utair launches new flights from Samara to Samarkand

On Monday, Utair has launched first flights from Samara to Samarkand, the third most populous city in Uzbekistan. This was reported in the press service of the carrier.


"On January 16, Utair starts operating flights on the route Samara - Samarkand. The flights will be performed on Mondays", the report says.


According to President of "Utair - Passenger Airlines" Oleg Semenov, Utair provides air communication between Samara and large regional centers: Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut and Ufa, simultaneously developing foreign route network. "Last year we have launched flights from Samara to Baku, and in 2023 we are launching a flight to Samarkand," Semenov noted.


The airline plays a key role in providing passenger and cargo transportation in Russia's regions. The route network of Utair has more than 120 destinations. The main task is to connect the Volga, Siberia, Central Russia and the South of the country with direct flights. From Moscow and the regions, Utair also flies to cities in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.


Utair is the fourth-largest airline in Russia after Aeroflot, S7 and Ural Airlines.
