Uzbekistan resumes bus service with Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

Uzbekistan resumes international bus service and on January 19 buses to Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will be dispatched from Tashkent after a break caused by abnormal cold weather. This was reported to a TASS correspondent on Thursday in the administration of the Tashkent bus station.


"Regular international buses to Moscow (Russia), Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) will depart from Tashkent on January 19 after a break due to cold weather," a representative of the bus station said. According to him, in particular, at 12:00 local time (10:00 Moscow time), the bus was scheduled to leave from Tashkent to Moscow. According to the schedule, the bus on this route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, the travel time - 67 hours, the ticket price - 1 million soums (about $90).


According to the administration, the number of international bus trips and routes will be significantly increased in the near future.
