Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, who chairs the organizing committee of KazanForum – 2025, delivered a speech at the plenary session of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia – Islamic World", during which he read out a message from President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the forum participants.
“This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This significant date will be appropriately honored in both the business and cultural programs of the forum. It is important for us to preserve the memory of the lessons of history, of the courage and solidarity of our ancestors in the fight against Nazism, racism, and colonialism. Only together can we ensure sustainable and harmonious development of the global community and effectively counter terrorism, extremism, and the escalation of local conflicts,” the message from President Putin stated.
