State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has extended an invitation to the Speaker of Turkey's Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmus, to participate in an international parliamentary conference on counterterrorism and regional cooperation. The event is scheduled for May 2025 in Moscow, according to the State Duma's official website.
The invitation was made during a phone conversation initiated by the Turkish side. During the call, Volodin and Kurtulmuş discussed the development of interparliamentary relations between Russia and Turkey.
Volodin also took the opportunity to congratulate Kurtulmuş and the Turkish people on the upcoming New Year.
