Delovye Linii launches cargo delivery from Iran, UAE, and Qatar

"Delovye Linii" Group of Companies has launched the delivery of cargo to Russia from Iran, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar, the logistics operator's press service said on Tuesday.


"Delovye Linii has launched their own routes from the Middle East to Russia. The carrier has developed new logistic schemes for cargo transportation from Iran, the UAE, and Qatar. The company employees will take the cargo from the manufacturer's warehouse and send it to Russia by air, road or sea transport, and then will deliver the goods to their terminal or to the specified address of the recipient", the report says.


Delivery by sea from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas to Astrakhan will take about a week, about two weeks - by road from Tehran to Makhachkala, the same period - by sea from the UAE to Novorossiysk. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs may use the service. It is noted that equipment, spare parts, electronics, clothing and building materials are most often ordered from this region.


"Changes in foreign policy and economic conditions have led to a shift of focus of commodity turnover from the usual regions of Europe and America to new and promising areas, including the Middle East. Following the requests of Russian importers, we have launched a new service for cargo delivery from Iran, the UAE, and Qatar to Russia, which opens up additional opportunities for the business development of Russian entrepreneurs," the press service noted.


In 2022, Delovye Linii launched air delivery to Russia from China and Southeast Asia, also started regular containerized cargo shipments from Turkey, the report said.
