Moscow and Cairo will organize more than 200 cultural, sports and other humanitarian events this year. This was announced on Sunday by the Egyptian ambassador to Moscow Ihab Nasr at the discussion "The Great Pyramids in Giza. Antiquity and Modernity (Dialogue of Science and Art)."
"During this year, for the first time in the history of our relations, we will organize more than 200 cultural events," he said. - "I will be glad to see you all."
According to the head of the Egyptian diplomatic mission, the events will take place not only in the sphere of culture but also in sports and other humanitarian areas, which reflects "the growing relations between Egypt and Russia."
The discussion took place at the Pushkin state museum of fine arts and was timed to coincide with the Forever is Now 2021 contemporary art exhibition which will be held from October 21 to November 7 on the Giza plateau for the first time in the 4,500-year history of the pyramids.
