Experts announce the rising cost of accommodation in Turkish hotels

09 December 2019

In the next few years, Turkish hoteliers will maintain the policy of annual price increases. This, according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), was announced by the head of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation - TUROFED Osman Ayrik.

"The upward trend in prices will remain in 2020, but we will be able to achieve the desired indicators only in 2022 or 2023, gradually increasing them every year," she said, in particular.

For 2020, the cost of accommodation in Turkish hotels, according to ATOR, has already been increased by 5-15 percent.

However, the prices for accommodation still fall short of those that were before the crisis in Russian-Turkish relations in 2015-2016.

It happened after the Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian jet in 2015 in Syria.
