The first stage of the Tactical Shooter competition of the International Army Games (ARMY-2022) has started at the Spassk training ground near Karaganda in Kazakhstan. This was reported to reporters in the Russian ministry of defense on Friday.
"On the territory of the Spassk training ground near Karaganda in Kazakhstan, the teams have completed the first "Qualification" exercise of the first "Single Shooter" stage of the Tactical Shooter competition ARMY-2022," the ministry said.
They specified that the participants performed control exercises with submachine gun and pistol to pass into the main stage of the competition. The Russian team was the sixth to qualify.
The competitors were evaluated on the basis of their time performance, accuracy and observation of safety requirements. Having demonstrated high scores in the three events, all the competitors met the qualification requirements and successfully qualified for the main event.
The Tactical Shooter military sports competitions of the VIII International Army Games will be held in Kazakhstan from 13 to 27 August 2022.
