Israeli forces have violated the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip 738 times since it came into effect on October 10 of this year, according to figures released by the enclave’s press service.
The statement, published on the authority’s Telegram channel, refers to incidents involving airstrikes and gunfire directed at civilians, incursions of Israeli military vehicles into residential areas, and the unlawful demolition of homes and other civilian structures.
According to the press service, more than 380 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza during this period as a result of Israeli actions. Another 980 people have been injured, and 43 have been detained by Israeli forces.
The enclave’s authorities accused Israel of committing “gross and systematic violations” of the agreements reached, as well as of breaching the norms of international humanitarian law.
