In Libya, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Marshal Haftar

The Libyan military Prosecutor's Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the commander of the Libyan National Army treading on Tripoli. This was reported on the Government’s National Conciliation page on Facebook social network.

 

 


The published copies of the orders also include the six names of his associates.

 

 


It is known that, the Libyan Military Prosecutor’s Office operates under the leadership of the Government of National Conciliation, which is based in Tripoli.

 

 


Meanwhile, there is still fighting in the surroundings of the Libyan capital, the beginning of which Haftar announced on April 4th. The target of the offensive, according to him is the "liberation of Tripoli from terrorists."

 

 

There is the diarchy which has already been maintained in Libya for several years: in the city of Tobruk  in the east of the country there is the Parliament elected by the people, and in the west in Tripoli there is the support of the International Community and the Government of National Conciliation formed by the UN.
