Tehran is prepared to consider proposals from mediating countries to end the current war, provided these terms include compensation for damages suffered by Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera.
"Many countries friendly to us have offered ideas and expressed their readiness to play a role in achieving peace," Araghchi said. "If there is a proposal to end the war that meets our conditions and ensures that the damage sustained by Iran is compensated, then we will certainly listen to it."
Araghchi noted that Tehran has already communicated its official position to its allies. However, he emphasized that Iran’s fundamental stance remains unchanged regarding an immediate ceasefire.
