26 February

During a meeting with Federation Council Deputy Speaker Konstantin Kosachev, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali expressed his hope to discuss the progress of the Iranian-American negotiations in Geneva with the Russian side.

"In fact, we have much to talk about, including common issues and matters regarding the American approach and the course of our negotiations in Geneva, which are taking place right now," the Iranian diplomat noted.

The third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States is being held in Geneva on February 26. According to Esmaeil Baghaei, the official spokesperson for the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry, the agenda for this third round remains unchanged from previous sessions, with Tehran advocating for the lifting of US sanctions and the recognition of its right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
