Iranian Foreign Minister Calls Oman Talks with US a "Good Start"

In a series of telephone consultations with his counterparts from Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi offered a positive assessment of the negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear program held in Muscat on February 6.

 

According to an official statement from the foreign ministry, Araghchi "described the talks as a good start, simultaneously emphasizing the necessity of addressing the lack of trust regarding the intentions and goals of the American side."
