Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, held talks in Moscow with Russian Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev to review the implementation of key bilateral agreements, according to a statement released by the Iranian Embassy in Russia.
“During his visit to Moscow, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian met with the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and discussed the development of bilateral relations within the framework of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries,” the embassy stated via its official Telegram channel.
The discussions focused on the progress of major bilateral agreements in various areas, reflecting the deepening cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
Ahmadian arrived in the Russian capital earlier on Tuesday to participate in the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, taking place from May 27 to 29. The forum brings together top security officials from numerous countries to address global and regional security challenges.
