Several nations, including the Russian Federation, have approached Iranian authorities on a potential ceasefire to halt the ongoing regional conflict, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Kazem Gharibabadi, said in a statement broadcast on state television.
"Several countries, including Russia, China, and France, have contacted us concerning a ceasefire," Gharibabadi stated. He further clarified Tehran's position on the matter, noting that for Iran, the primary condition for any truce is a guarantee that "the aggression will not be repeated."
