The Kazakhstan authorities have agreed with the Russian side to import up to 850 thousand tons of diesel fuel this year, Energy Minister of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov told reporters on Tuesday.
"If fuel is not enough, we will import it. Basically, we have the reserves, we hope to pass this season successfully enough. We have a plan B – that is imports. We have agreed with the Russian Federation to supply up to 850 thousand diesel fuel this year," he said.
According to him, if necessary, Kazakhstan can use this volume.
