25 March

The 2025 visit of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Russia has provided a fresh impetus to the cooperation between the two nations. In Astana, significant importance is being placed on the upcoming visit of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, as stated by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"I want to emphasize that thanks to the efforts of our national leaders — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin — our relationship of alliance and strategic partnership is developing very successfully and dynamically. The state visit of the president of Kazakhstan to Russia, which took place last November, gave a new impetus to this cooperation. We are paying special attention to and preparing for the upcoming state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kazakhstan," Bektenov said.

Bektenov expressed his confidence that the Russian leader’s forthcoming visit will contribute to the further deepening and expansion of the allied relations between the two countries.
