Kuwait Airways, the national carrier of Kuwait, will begin scheduled flights to Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport starting March 16, 2026. This announcement was made via the official channel of the Russian Ministry of Transport on Max.
The airline has been authorized to operate three flights per week between Kuwait International Airport and Moscow Domodedovo. According to the Ministry, the launch is the result of collaborative efforts between the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) to expand international travel options for both Russian citizens and foreign tourists.
Kuwait Airways plans to primarily use wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for this route.
“Today, direct flights from Russia are available to 41 countries around the world. Sixty-one foreign airlines fly to Russia from 32 countries. Twenty domestic carriers operate flights from Russian airports to 30 foreign countries,” the ministry added.
