Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold a meeting with ambassadors of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on December 12, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Thursday.
"The traditional meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with ambassadors of CIS member states will be held in Moscow on December 12," she said.
Zakharova noted that the Russian foreign minister will sum up the results of interaction with Commonwealth countries in the outgoing year and will voice Russia's priority areas for the future. "And, of course, inform the ambassadors of Russia's position on a number of topical international and regional topics," the diplomat added.
