Mali can no longer allow foreign forces in the country without predetermined conditions, Prime Minister Choguel Kokalla Maiga said.
"We can no longer allow foreign forces on our territory without predetermined conditions. We can no longer leave room for maneuvering, which can allow states to depart from agreements with our country and go to carry out the program that they announced nationally to their society and the international community," he said in an interview with Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
The prime minister of Mali spoke amid tensions with France. As he stressed, France cannot deal with Mali's relations with the European Union "by proxy," and must be a partner of the West African republic.
