Chair of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, sent a congratulatory message to Malick Ndiaye, Speaker of Senegal’s National Assembly, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day, emphasizing the solid foundation of mutual respect and trust between the two nations.
"On behalf of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and personally, I extend my warmest congratulations on Senegal’s Independence Day. We value the friendly and constructive nature of the relationship between our countries, grounded in mutual respect and confidence," Matviyenko noted.
She expressed hope that cooperation between Russia’s Federation Council and Senegal’s National Assembly will continue to deepen through new joint initiatives that serve the interests of both nations.
"I wish you and your colleagues continued success in your important work, and peace and prosperity to the people of Senegal," she added.
