Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to Moscow this November, his press secretary Ruslan Zheldibay told RIA Novosti following a phone conversation between Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“President Tokayev emphasized the special importance of the upcoming state visit to Moscow this November, which aims to deepen comprehensive cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance,” Zheldibay said. He described the leaders' conversation as “exceptionally friendly and trust-based,” noting they focused primarily on resolving the Ukraine conflict.
The visit holds particular significance as a state visit represents the highest category of foreign trip by a head of state, typically occurring just once during a leader's tenure.
