Presidents of the CIS countries express their condolences in connection with the plane crash in Kazakhstan

Presidents of the CIS countries expressed their condolences in connection with the crash of a passenger plane near Almaty.


President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov sent a telegram saying that he "received with a sense of deep sorrow the news about the human victims as a result of the disaster during the flight Almaty-Nur-Sultan".


His condolences also expressed the President of Moldova Igor Dodon.


"On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and on my own behalf, I express my sympathy to the entire people of Kazakhstan", he wrote on his Facebook page.


The head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in his condolences noted that the Republic "with deep sorrow received the news about the victims of the passenger plane crash", and "on behalf of the Belarusian people and myself " expressed sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims, and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.


President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as noted in the press service of the Uzbek leader, "expressed words of sincere sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to all injured".


Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wrote in his condolences "I learned with sorrow and pain about the numerous victims of the passenger plane crash".


The plane of the Bek Air airline with 98 people onboard lost height during takeoff. 12 people were killed. Today is national mourning day in Kazakhstan.
