12 November

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's invitation to make a state visit to Kazakhstan in 2026, expressing his pleasure at the prospect.

“I warmly invite you to visit Kazakhstan next year on a state visit. This isn't about protocol details, but about substance. We need to sign a new generation of documents at the highest level and monitor their implementation. This is extremely important,” Tokayev stated during his meeting with the Russian leader in the Green Drawing Room of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

“Thank you. I will be delighted to visit Kazakhstan, delighted!” President Putin responded, accepting the invitation.
