Russian President Vladimir Putin has described Chinese President Xi Jinping’s initiative on global governance as very timely and constructive. He shared these thoughts during a press conference following his visit to China.
Putin emphasized that the documents adopted at the recent summit, with unanimous approval from all participants, are forward-looking and aimed at building a better future. “I would especially like to highlight the Chinese initiative on global governance. It seems very timely to me,” the president said.
He pointed out that this initiative is designed to foster positive cooperation among the countries gathered at the summit, as well as with potential partners who may currently be reluctant to engage in such partnerships.
“Together with the unity of all those present, this represents a crucial demonstration of a positive attitude and confidence that we can accomplish the goals we have set,” Putin added.
