Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressing confidence in further development of the strategic partnership between the two countries. The State News Agency of Turkmenistan published the text of the Russian leader's congratulations on the birthday of the Turkmen President on Tuesday.
Vladimir Putin noted that under the leadership of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan confidently follows the path of socio-economic development and plays an important constructive role in regional and international affairs.
"We highly appreciate your efforts aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between our states," the message said. "I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to build mutually beneficial Russian-Turkmen relations in all directions. This undoubtedly meets the vital interests of our friendly people, runs in the framework of the stability and security in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region," the Russian President stressed.
Vladimir Putin wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov good health, happiness, prosperity and success.
