Putin To Meet With Indonesia’s President At The Kremlin

10 December

President Vladimir Putin will hold talks at the Kremlin with Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto, who has arrived in Moscow for a working visit.

According to the Kremlin press service, the meeting will focus on “the further development of the Russia–Indonesia strategic partnership,” as well as current international and regional issues.

Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov noted that Subianto’s visit to Russia is “a strictly working trip meant to synchronize positions given the deepening cooperation between the two countries.”

This is not Subianto’s first trip to Russia in 2025: the Indonesian leader paid an official visit in June, when Putin hosted him at the Konstantin Palace in St. Petersburg. The two presidents also took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

During that earlier visit, Russia and Indonesia signed a declaration on strategic cooperation — a status Moscow assigns to its relations with countries such as China, North Korea and Iran. Putin also stated that Russia was ready to join projects on the Indonesian continental shelf and expand hydrocarbon supplies to Jakarta.
