Putin to Receive Credentials from African and Middle Eastern Ambassadors on January 15

Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive credentials from foreign ambassadors on Thursday, including envoys from African and Middle Eastern countries, the Kremlin press service said.


The following ambassadors will present their credentials to the head of state: Mohamed Abukar Zubeyr of Somalia, Sosthene Ndemby of Gabon, Shobini Kaushala Gunasekera of Sri Lanka, Stéphan Sylvain Sambou of Senegal, Joseph Nzabamwita of Rwanda, Sidati Cheikh Ould Ahmed Aicha of Mauritania, Toufik Djouama of Algeria, Nazrul Islam of Bangladesh, Hamdi Shaaban Abdelhalim Mohamed of Egypt, Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah of Ghana, and Monica Ndilwavike Nashandi of Namibia.

Ambassadors from the Middle East will also take part in the ceremony: Abdul-Karim Hashim Mustafa of Iraq, Bashir Saleh Azzam of Lebanon, and Sami bin Mohammed Al-Sadhan of Saudi Arabia.



The ceremony will traditionally be held in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
