Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia–Islamic World", sent a message of condolences to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding the loss of life during recent mass protests in Iran.
"We received the news of the tragic deaths during protest actions in Iran with profound sorrow," Minnikhanov wrote. "Please convey my condolences to the families and loved ones of those who perished, as well as to all those affected during this difficult time. I hope the situation in the country will soon stabilize and peace and security will be restored throughout its territory."
Recognizing the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding for achieving stability and prosperity, Minnikhanov expressed hope that "peace will return to Iran, and all citizens will be able to preserve their safety and return to normal life."
