The joint Russia-Kazakhstan demarcation commission discussed the draft final documents on the state border demarcation, as well as the course of field demarcation works in 2022. This is stated in a report of the Russian MFA issued on Tuesday.
"The one hundred and twentieth meeting of the joint Russia-Kazakhstan demarcation commission was held in Nur-Sultan on August 15-19. The parties continued to coordinate and approve the draft sets of final documents on the demarcation of the Russia-Kazakhstan state border, as well as discussed the progress of field demarcation works in the current year," the ministry reported.
The diplomatic mission noted that the next meeting of the commission will be held in September in Russia.
