Russia and Tajikistan have signed the migration agreement

Moscow and Dushanbe have concluded an «international agreement on the recruitment of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan for temporary employment in the Russian Federation».

 

 

The signatures of the document at the ceremony in the Moscow Kremlin were put by the Heads of the two states, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon.

 

 

According to RIA Novosti to the reference of materials of the agreement, at the present day there are up to 1,2 million citizens of Tajikistan in Russia. Last year they were granted more than 470 thousand patents for work.

 

 

The document was signed by Putin and Rahmon, among other things, involves organizing a systematic recruitment of the labor migrants in the Republic for their work in the Russian Federation, and also gives the citizens of the Republic maximum preferences for non-members of the Eurasian Economic Union, namely, the possibility of staying in Russia for 15 days without registering and registration of the patent for work for a period of up to 3 years.
