Interpol has extended an invitation to a Russian delegation to participate in the 91st session of the General Assembly and the celebration of the organization's 100th anniversary, according to Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi, the President of Interpol, in an interview with TASS. Representatives of the Russian Federation are expected to take part in these events.
"Of course, they are invited, and we welcome them, as well as other delegates who have come to participate in this important event," stated the Interpol president when asked about the invitation of the Russian delegation to the General Assembly session and the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the organization.
The 91st session of the Interpol General Assembly is scheduled to commence in Vienna on November 28 and will continue until December 1. The assembly will bring together leaders and representatives of law enforcement agencies from over 190 member countries of the organization. The session is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the organization, founded in Vienna in 1923.
