Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin and Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Russia Dauren Abayev held a meeting on Wednesday where they emphasized the strong level of interstate cooperation between the two countries in the fields of integration, economics, and humanitarian affairs. This was reported by the Russian foreign ministry.
"During the meeting, the officials extensively discussed matters relating to Russian-Kazakh cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). They also acknowledged the robust nature of the bilateral cooperation in areas related to integration, economy, and humanitarian affairs," the statement reads.
