Russian Foreign Ministry Urges Citizens to Avoid Travel to Gulf Nations

04 March

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a formal recommendation for citizens to refrain from traveling to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia until the regional situation stabilizes, Maria Zakharova told a briefing.

While she noted that the Ministry of Economic Development has not issued an outright ban on visiting the region, she emphasized that a strong recommendation remains in place. Specifically, Russians are urged to avoid tourist trips to these six nations until active hostilities cease and aviation services are fully normalized.
